HANS JOERGEN RASMUSSEN
CO-FOUNDER, EDUCATOR, WEBMASTER, HONORARY PRESIDENT AND BOARD MEMBER

Creator of 'The Climate School' and the websites 'Saving Our Planet' and 'The Climate Cinema' and 'Climate Change Site'.

Born in Denmark, living since 1990 in northern Norway.

With a background of approx. 30 years of practising psychology and many years of teaching psychology in different contexts, he is now retired, working full time will climate activism.

His “wake up call” to climate change occurred in 2011, and since then he has combined his passion for photography, films and webdesign with his skills in teaching, in order to develop and implement our websites and educational programs.

CARL BURNESS
CHIEF WEB DESIGNER AND DEVELOPER

Carl Burness is a graphic designer with 30 years’ experience of working for household names, including Sony, Intel and BT. He has been freelance for the past 16 years, during which time he also co-founded and ran a small book publisher and, separately, a magazine of new writing.

Carl is bringing his design, webmaster skills, blogging skills and search engine knowledge to the team to ensure that the message reaches the widest possible audience.

In 2018, as media consultant to a poet and performer, he was awarded a grant by the British Council and Arts Council England to bring new British climate change poetry to Australian audiences. In the UK, Carl has also worked for social enterprise, Eco-Shelter, and The Woodland Trust.

He lives on a solar-powered, historic narrowboat in the English countryside. He is an avid reader of quality literature and viewer of art/foreign films; writes his own short stories and novellas and enjoys designing new products.
